the texas bluebonnets
these little blue flowers turn people (me included) into crazy lunatics. They stop on a dime when they see a field of them, they park on highways, trespass, grab grandma, any baby in sight, and risk their lives just to take pictures in these little flowers. They turn us all into wanna be photographers. But, i cant blame them. so i join them.

Oh! You make me so homesick! I'm NATIVE TEXAN in exhile in the Pacific Northwest. The closest I get to bluebonnets is the painting (of a bluebonnet field outside of Austin) that hangs in my dining room. Thank you for these photos. And watch out for rattlesnakes. They love bluebonnets.
Becky! How sweet! you definately need to come down to Texas for a nice long visit. and YES! the snakes are out! Thanks for the sweet encouraging words, we had alot of fun in the bluebonnets as its been 2 years of drought and we havent seen any in a while!
